Financial Standards Group, Inc. (FSG) is a company whose sole purpose is to provide the finest quality auditing services available to the credit union system at the most competitive price possible. Our goal is to bring superior auditing services within the reach of all credit unions, not just those with the financial resources to afford expensive external audits.
FSG has more than 20 years of management experience in all aspects of credit union auditing.
FSG is not a CPA firm, and does not perform certified audits, but does provide a variety of valuable auditing services which are not required to be completed by a CPA.
The concept of FSG is based on years of hands on credit union experience including Supervisory Committee Annual Audits, Fraud Reviews, Internal Audits, Bank Secrecy Act and Automated Clearing House Audits, Due Diligence Reviews, Member Account Verification Audits, Change of Manager Audits and accounting assistance. This experience has made FSG aware of the unique challenges faced by credit unions and the auditing firms who serve them.

Currently FSG has fourteen professionals in four states - California, Kentucky, Michigan, and Mississippi serving over 250 credit union clients. In addition, we have credit union clients in neighboring states. Each state office is staffed with a manager and staff who possess extensive credit union knowledge and experience and are uniquely qualified to assist you in your auditing needs.
FSG's Corporate office is located in Louisville, Kentucky. This office plays an important role in ensuring that your credit union receives top quality audit reports on a timely basis. Each audit report is reviewed by a member of our Technical Support Department prior to issuance. No matter what state your credit union is located in, you can be assured that the same consistency of quality will be met by all of our offices.
